Esikhoveni Institute in one on the 13 training institutes of Public Service Commission falling under the Conditions of Service Agency. The Institute offers training and related interventions to improve public sector performance. Mainly, therefore, the institute covers the civil service, local authorities, Parastatals and state owned enterprises. Training and relates services are also extended to non-governmental organisations and communities in general. It opened its doors in 1976 to offer short courses to Government Departments, Private Sector Organisations and other Development Partners. The courses aim to create and sustain a culture of excellence in service delivery. Esikhoveni Institute is located 47 kilometers south of the City of Bulawayo. It lies on the roadside of the Gwanda Beitbridge Highway.
