He started his career in the Private Sector as a Customer Service Manager for Allstate Insurance Company in Los Angeles, California, USA from 1978 to 1981. He was appointed as Group Management Accountant for Wiroplastics Division in 1981 and later promoted to the post of General Manager within the same Company.<\/p>\n<p>In November 2023 he was appointed Commissioner, in the Public Service Commission. Mr Mavima brings vast experience in monitoring and evaluation of Government projects and programmes.
