{"id":2940,"date":"2025-07-06T17:17:49","date_gmt":"2025-07-06T17:17:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/psc\/?page_id=2940"},"modified":"2025-09-05T08:32:01","modified_gmt":"2025-09-05T08:32:01","slug":"uniformed-services","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.psc.gov.zw\/?page_id=2940","title":{"rendered":"Uniformed Services"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Functions<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures the continuous alignment of the Commissions to national goals and priorities to develop efficient and cost-effective practices.<\/li>\n<li>Develops Human Resources policies and programs that transform the Uniformed Services into strategic public assets that promote viable partnerships with the private sector.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitates the design of appropriate functional structures for the Uniformed Services and other Commissions as guided by their Constitutional mandate.<\/li>\n<li>Develops strategic solutions to employment related issues to assist the Uniformed Services in meeting their expected levels of performance, delivery and productivity.<\/li>\n<li>Rationalization, harmonization and standardization of Conditions of service for the Uniformed Services.<\/li>\n<li>Formulation of a comprehensive, equitable, fair, transparent and holistic remuneration framework for the Uniformed Services.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that Treasury concurrence is secured for all reviewed structures in order to work within allocated budget.<\/li>\n<li>National Wage bill management for the Uniformed Services.<\/li>\n<li>Champions service wide culture change across Uniformed Services.<\/li>\n<li>Development of an advocacy and communication program that creates cohesion across the Security Departments.<\/li>\n<li>Drives the Uniformed Services reforms through the Tripartite.<\/li>\n<li>Aligns the Uniformed Services statutes to the Constitution.<\/li>\n<li>Provides Secretarial services to the Uniformed Service Commissions.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates the amendment or formulation of legislation relevant to the Uniformed Services.<\/li>\n<li>Carries out periodic inspections of programs and projects being undertaken by the Uniformed Services in respective regions.<\/li>\n<li>Reviews establishments of the Uniformed Services and carrying out periodic staff audits in the ZRP and ZPCS to ascertain the Forces\/public ratio so as to recommend improvements to existing conditions of service.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Functions Ensures the continuous alignment of the Commissions to national goals and priorities to develop efficient and cost-effective practices.
